I carry a camera with me everywhere. Since 2010, I’ve carried some version of the Ricoh GR to document the progress and pursuits of my growing family. Coincidentally, in October 2026, the RICOH GR series will mark the 30th anniversary since the launch of the film compact camera RICOH GR 1. Ricoh, if you ever need an ambassador, feel free to send me a camera although I will insist that you bring back the built-in flash in a future model.

I always end up with several images that don’t quite fit into the family album, so every five years I edit and release a collection of them under a different title. This image, from Naïf (2015 - 2019), has been selected for exhibition at 13B Gallery in Kamnik, Slovenia, as part of the group exhibition Mellow Yellow.

Mellow Yellow is an international photography exhibition in which the uplifting colour yellow takes centre stage. The theme celebrates the warmth, optimism, and subtle power of yellow in all its shades, from golden sunshine to soft buttercream tones. The exhibition opens on 22 May and runs until 3 July 2026.
