Filton
2004 - 2005

I had the fortune and pleasure of completing a foundation photography diploma at Filton College, Bristol in 2004. The course was the only Foundation Photography Course in the country at the time and it gave me a fantastic introduction to all aspects of analogue photography.

In the middle of 2023, I realised my negatives from that period and earlier were beginning to deteriorate. In particular the high ISO black and white films started to stink of sulphur, perhaps an after effect of my bad developing or the high gelatine content. Your guess is as good as mine.

For prosperity I have scanned and printed the negatives to hopefully archive my point of view at that time before they turn to stinky dust. Here is a small collection from the rescue.
